How to Practice Good Bread and Breakfast Etiquette
Motorcyclists travel far and wide to train for a race or simply to enjoy the adventure of off-road motorcycling. For safety, security, and convenience, many prefer to ride bikes in privately owned woodlands such as the magnificent Muddy Wheels trail-riding facility. Because some riders may want to stay longer than a day, the facility provides a bed and breakfast (B&B). This is a small lodging establishment that provides overnight accommodation and a few meals. Cash-strapped or budget-conscious travellers often stay in B&Bs because of the inexpensive rates and meals.
If you opt to stay in such a travel accommodation, you need to observe proper etiquette. First, avoid making loud noises, throwing trash around, or doing some unruly activity to show respect to other guests. Also the establishment usually serves free breakfast, but that does not mean that you hoard the food. Make sure you leave enough of each food item being served for other guests. If you have children with you, make sure that they are well-behaved. Do not let them run around or play with items within the place.
Next, be prompt when it comes to the establishment's schedule. Usually, a B&B sticks to certain hours for opening, closing, and eating. Be aware of the schedule and try not to be late. If, for some reason, you are going to be late, inform the owner beforehand. It would inconvenient for him to wait for you in the middle of the night so he could close the door and finally get some sleep. Finally, do not smoke or drink alcohol inside the premises where other guests who are non-drinkers and non-smokers are also present. If you need to have a puff or drink, have the courtesy of stepping outside.
